HERRMANS SUPPORTS SUNN UNSTOPPABLE TEAM
HERRMANS® continues the cooperation with the French Sunn Unstoppable Enduro Racing Team in 2016. The team competes in the Enduro World Series as well as in major French races. The team rides with HERRMANS® grips.
In 2016 the team is completed with a third strong rider, Isabeau Courdurier (21). Isabeau joins the team leaving the Rocky Mountain Urge Team. In 2015 she took the podium twice and consistently was placed in the top five.
The Enduro World Series 2016 started in Corral, Chile 26-27th of March. The teams third rider Isabeau makes a impressing debut finishing third in the race. Thomas finishes in 27th place still recovering from a wrist injury.
The Enduro World Series 2016 continued in Cerro Catedral, Argentina 2-3rd of April. Isabeu makes her second podium appearance finishing again third in the race. She is now second in the total series! Thomas regained some of his touch and finished in 41st place.
The third round in the Enduro World Series 2016 was run in Wicklow, Ireland 15th of May. Isabeu subscribes to the third place and maintains her second position in the total series! Thomas gradually rises in the rankings and finished in 20th place.
The forth round in the Enduro World Series 2016 was run in La Thuile, Italy 16-17th of July. Isabeu takes her first second place for the season maintaining her second position in the totals. Thomas reaches a 19th place and Kilian enters the series for the season finishing 38th.
The fifth round in the Enduro World Series 2016 was run in Aspen Snowmass, USA 30-31th of July. Isabeu continues her fine series with a third place maintaining her second position in the total rankings. Thomas finished 34th.
In the sixth round of the Enduro World Series 2016 in Whistler, Canada 14th of August Isabeu fought her way to a second place. While Thomas sore to a 25th place.
The boys scored several podiums at Roc Des Alpes in La Clusaz, France 17-19th of July. In Enduroc Thomas finished first and Kilian second. In Urban DH they divided the first place. In Roc Ruelle Thomas finished second together with Titouan Perrin Garnier.
In 2015 the team’s best positions in the Enduro World Series was a 5th position for Thomas Lapeyrie (25) in Round 4 in Samoens, France. The newcomer Kilian Bron (24) reached a 37th position in the same race. Last year the Sunn Unstoppable Team climbed the race podiums a total of 11 times. Including 6 wins, Thomas Lapeyrie won Roc Lanes and Enduroc #2 at Roc Des Alpes as well as Coupe de France. Kilian Bron won Enduroc #1 and Super Special Urban Enduroc #2 at Roc Des Alpes. Together they won the Enduro Team Race at BiiVouac.
